Blue Shirts For Great Blue Heron Support

Council will be deciding whether or not to keep/require environmental protections on the title of the property beside the heronry to ensure the herons are protected during development.
Very few people can fit into council chambers now, due to the Covid-19 spacing, so this is a way for citizens to show council and City staff that many residents support the Great Blue Heron. They will walk past us to enter council chambers.
It will not require you to attend the meeting or enter the building.

What to wear: A blue shirt to show you care about the Great Blue Herons.

Note: This will be a peaceful, quiet event. Sometimes silence speaks volumes!

Hope to see you there!

The Vernon Heronry Protection Society.
