Call to Action
580 Commonage Petition: SENS strongly opposes this bad hillside sprawl. Please read the CAN! petition and, if in agreement, please sign. https://climateactionnownorthokanagan.ca/activities/stop-580-commonage
StopSprawlVernon a new ad hoc local group, supports this very short, factual video reel on the Commonage sprawl proposal, “Let’s Talk about the Commonage” https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1HNVzTqk5y/
After years of advocacy, nations at the United Nations have agreed to a historic Global Ocean Treaty. Now they need public support to make it strong enough to truly protect our seas. Add your name to the petition and urge Canada and other governments to safeguard our oceans from plastics, overfishing, and climate threats by finalizing a powerful treaty this August. Sign the petition, here.
