SENS is working with the Vernon branch of the Okanagan Regional Library to present the following 4 documentaries, free, with discussion to follow. Start time is 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome – bring a carload!

February 7: A River Film — Discusses management and protection of Okanagan water and how different groups compete for our water.

February 14: Theatre of Life — What if Food Waste Could Feed the Hungry? An Italian chef creates a gourmet kitchen by transforming food destined for the dumpster. See how this affects the environment.

February 21: Us and Them — Filmed in Victoria; looks at city environment and life changes that cause homelessness and examines the repercussions for all of us.

February 28: A Plastic Ocean — Discusses environmental impacts of oceans that are brimming with plastic waste from our global disposable culture. It also looks at solutions.
