To Find a word or phrase within a web page already on your screen, go to your browser's menu item Edit > Find on This Page... and type it in.


If you have dial-up internet, you can save web pages on your hard disk and read them later in your browser when you're not connected. To do this:

  • go to your browser’s menu item File > Save As ...
  • choose Save As type: Web Archive, single file (*.mht)
  • give the file a meaningful name, and save it where you can find it later.
  • to view the page later, double-click the saved file.
  • (if you don't use Explorer, use the Save As type: Web Page, complete. There may be a folder created as well.)
